Weight Loss Recipe: Halloumi Cheese Balls

Here is a tasty and healthy weight loss recipe from my 6 Week Body Plan. Lots of you have contacted me saying they wanted more workouts so you get variety to keep things fresh and exciting.

Is Halloumi Cheese Fattening?

Now cheese is one of those things lots of people LOVE and are a bit worried about eating because they think that it’s fattening

Yes, it’s true that cheese is indeed high fat, but eating a healthy amount with a healthy balanced diet does not mean you will put on weight by eating it.

The truth is that it’s eating too many calories that is fattening.

  • Too much food
  • Too much snacking
  • Too much drinking and enough movement

All above are fattening

But a bit of cheese a few times a week as part of a delicious meal or snack.


This weight loss recipe is featured in my 6 Week Body Plan and you can get access to more recipes, plus the new workouts and daily motivation by joining in with me.

Here’s the recipe for you:


  • 1 block of halloumi grated
  • 1 grated courgette
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1 egg
  • 25g (1 scoop) oats
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • pinch black pepper


Squeeze as much water out of the courgette & carrot as possible using kitchen roll. Next mix all the ingredients together and split into 9 balls. Place into a muffin tray and pop in the oven at 180 degrees for 10-12 mins, rotate them and cook for a further 6-8 mins. Enjoy 3 as a serving with your fave veggies/salad
