Date & Diet?
This is how it goes:
You eat three meals a day
consisting of 7 dates and a glass of milk
or some yoghurt!!
Let me tell you a story….
You may already know it,
but I’m a bit of a
I LOVE IT
I want it everyday.
So I do
But I do it good.
Either with my good ‘ol
Green & Blacks 100% organic
where I’ll get to work on one of my
special recipes or
I’ll pop along to the local sports nutrition
shop and get some protein bars.
Yesterday, I popped along to
get myself a cookies & cream
flavoured bar of heaven and I got
chatting to a guy about diet.
“I’m doing a new diet on Monday.
It’s a date diet I’ve been recommended”
‘EH?” I SAID
What’s this one all about now?
So he explained.
For a quick sec I thought maybe I’d just nod and
make the convo go a bit quicker so I could
get my special time with my protein bar
But I couldn’t
I had to go Tara Talk….
OF COURSE he’s going to lose some weight initially
He’s not eating hardly any food.
No regular meals with protein,
vegetables, healthy fats & carbs.
“Of course you’re going to lose some weight initially,
you’ll be starving yourself, but what about after the crazy fad.
You’ll only put it all back on!”
He went on to say then how he’d been
on a boys weekend the week before and
had over done it on the drinking and eating so wanted
to get a few kilo’s off.
Yes, I get that feeling but all he’ll
ever end up doing
is yo-yo, rollercoastering his way through
Hating his flab,
Feeling grumpy & starving on a crazy diet
Then put it all back on again because he’s
messed around with his metabolism and will go straight back
to the way he was eating before…
With BAD HABITS
So he’ll never keep it off.
BUT imagine being able to
eat REAL FOOD,
watch the weight fall off
AND STILL GO AWAY ON WEEKENDS AND ENJOY!
Surely thats a better way of living your life than
counting out blinking dates.
7 x 3 x 7 = …

I wouldn’t last 147 minutes on
that diet before I start dreaming and drooling about
when I can actually eat again…
How about doing it my way.
You get to eat REAL FOOD
You get to TONE your body fast
You start to get your head around what to
do for the best
You will quite possible fall off the wagon,
lets life in the real world,
but you don’t fall off as hard or
for as long because you have
a team of people to lift you back up
Then…you’ll feel so confident and radiant
and proud of yourself that the only
date you have to obsess over is the one you go on
with someone else!!
