How’s the detox going?
We’re day 7 of the New Year and if you’ve been taking action on those health goals you should be feeling the benefits of the past week.
I’m delighted to see so many people following my tips, trying on jeans that are too tight and sending me photos privately.
I also loved having step by step photos of how one action taker (Sara – Hi!) tried my berry green smoothie recipe.
So today I have another for you.
This is a very refreshing one as it’s minty.
Give it a whirl
Now when you make these – get a bit experimental. You may want yours thicker or runnier so add more / less water.
Or you may want to make more of a meal on the go with it, so add some whey protein. I’d probably stick to vanilla or unflavoured so you don’t take away from the minty-ness of this one.
These are so amazing for you this detox month
Minty Green Smoothie
1 medium pear
½ cup chopped cucumber
2 cups chopped curly kale
4-5 fresh mint leaves
Juice of 1 fresh lime
1 cup of water
Want to make more of a snack / on-the-go meal, then add the following:
1 tbspn milled flaxseed
1 scoop whey protein
