GET TO WORK!
SORT THE FAMILY OUT!
WALK THE DOG!
PACK YOUR STUFF FOR A TRIP AWAY (<< This always stresses me out)
All these things to do all the time to feel on top of our game.
All things I recommend you do and quite essential too.
But sometimes….Don’t Do Anything!
This morning I planned on going for a quick workout before popping to get my hair done.
When I got in the car I reminded myself.
I was on my own,
Didn’t have any clients to get to,
The sun was out,
I had some time to be on my own and go to the beach.
Something I’ve wanted to do for ages but didn’t have the chance.
This was my chance and I grabbed it.
I didn’t workout,
I walked
I reflected
I loved where I was.
Nobody around apart from a seagull or two.
I just had a little walk and a think
Reflecting on all the things I love,
Everything I’m grateful for and not much else.
Even when people sit and relax in the evening,
in front of the TV or Phone, they’re not being with themselves.
When was the last time you just turned everything off,
You on your own,
No filling your mind with social media or Love Island or whatever you turn to when you can.
Next time you get a moment to yourself
Switch everything off.
Close your eyes or look out to the world and spend some time with you.
Have nice thoughts
Remind yourself how lovely you really are
Be grateful for you
Love you and enjoy the moment.
This weekend, do something to just slow down
