How amazing are peanut butter cups?!?!
MMM thick chocolate, peanut butter – HEAVEN!
Shame about everything else in there tho!
However……there is always a way of TARAnsforming things…
May I introduce you to Protein Peanut Butter Cups
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
At least 80% Cocoa Chocolate (I used 4 squares of 90% Lindt Chocolate)
½ scoop chocolate whey protein (You could try other flavours to jazz it up)
1 Teaspoon natural peanut butter (or you could use almond butter)
2 Silicone cups
HOW TO
Melt your chocolate and add the whey protein to it.
Spoon a teaspoon of the melted chocolate into each silicone cupcake cup and swish it around to coat the bottom. Pop them into the freezer for about 10-15 mins
Put half a teaspoon into each silicone cup and pour the rest of the melted protein chocolate on the top.
Add to the freezer again for approx 15-20 mins
THAT’S IT!
Making them is the easy part. Only eating one is the tough part – so make sure you share with someone fabulous that deserves a bit of your edible love!
