It’s Ok NOT to be perfect
I’m not perfect
None of us are
That’s ok
Yesterday when I had 10 minutes and I was feeling productive and on top of my game (a bit)
I did a live video on Facebook.
Apart from keeping in touch with the girls in the programmes, I hadn’t been around much.
Life got busy
I had a workout last Sunday….I didn’t have another til yesterday (Friday)
I did my reading at the beginning of the week…I missed a few days
I ate good food 80% of the time…..I had some prosecco (Had to celebrate my man’s birthday with a glass or two), I had chocolate, I had some chips, I had some pepsi max.
I did GOOD
I enjoyed
I got back to it and I keep on going
…..and I’m still getting results.
That’s the trick
the magic answer
the secret
Do your best most of the time,
Don’t try to be perfect,
Be consistent.
Yesterday I shared my 17 week progress pic.
I’m happy with where I’m at.
Could I be looking better……possibly.
Sometimes I choose staying in bed staring at Danny rather than train.
I’ll go for a walk instead maybe.
Other days, my alarm goes off….I wish it didn’t but I get up and DO IT.
I love both options.
I love my lifestyle.
Sometimes I choose the easy option.
Sometimes I choose the hard option.
I make the decision….nobody else yet, I keep on going.
It is better to do a good job of a good plan most of the time
than to fail once at being perfect and fall off the wagon completely.
14 weeks ago I started with the smallest steps.
(The first day was literally 20 squats and 20 hip extensions…it was over in minutes)
I kept making small steps.
I kept going
Those steps get results.
I’m getting nearer to my goal.
This is very me me me but there’s a point.
I’m no different to anyone, my life is hard & busy too.
I’m adapting to being a Mum and trying to run a business, but
what I’ve done is very different to what many do.
I started
I’ve kept going
I will keep on going.
I have my goal ( that LBD and a photoshoot in 10 weeks)
I have a plan
I’m going to enjoy how I do it
I want you to do the same
So here it is:
#1 Don’t try to be perfect
#2 Make a start
#3 Get accountable
#4 Get support
#5 keep making those steps.
I do hope that this can inspire you and help you believe in yourself and know
that you are enough and you don’t have to be perfect.
^^^ Here’s the video I recorded if you fancy a watch.
Get Started!!

(Yay – first time and I didn’t feel like my pelvic floor was going to fail me. lol)
I had a healthy protein bowl & berry breakfast
I had a chocolate cookie ( i don’t have them every day so I said yes)
I had a healthy chicken salad lunch
I had ham & rice cakes to snack
I had steak & veg for dinner.
I drunk water & 2 coffees
I did good….not perfect.
It’s ok
