My Holiday Nightmare
It happens to us all.
That feeling when you get back and
you get that feeling
of dread about the weight you may have put on.
I’ve just come back from Cape Verde
Have you been there? It’s sooooooo lovely!
A whole week of chilling out and recharging the batteries.
(Even though the journey back and
being awake nearly 24 hours KO’d me the weekend.)
It was amazing and ESSENTIAL that I switched off,
took a break from everything and the toughest
part of my day was deciding which pool to laze around by.
I LOVED IT!
We were at the gym each morning
Yes, Yes, I know some will say “you’re on
holiday, have a rest”
But we enjoyed it.
We had a game of tennis.
I shared many of my meal choices with
my private groups which were delicious,
low carb, healthy mini-banquets.
I left one part out.
The Daily Desserts.
We all know my obsession with chocolate.
Well, that was my thing on holiday.
I just CANNOT resist it.
The bread and pastries didn’t bother me.
The alcohol didn’t bother me.
The sweet stuff.
TWICE A DAY.
So now, I’m feeling it.
The after effects of the indulgence.
It was worth it.
I’m more bothered by the mountain of washing I’ve still got to
I may feel a little less lean, but
I have a plan.
This week I’ll be joining in with the team as we
totally clean up our food & drink choices.
Detox our negative thoughts and kickstart the weight loss.
I’m going to be cutting out the caffeine
(Yep – had too much of that too)
The processed, refined food
and we’re all going to be eating food to help us
speed up fat loss….especially in those stubborn places.
We all know how quickly time goes
and I’ll be losing any extra pounds I
may have put on, as quickly as they went on.
