Mince pie for breakfast

Better late than never with
todays email.
Routine can easily go out the window
this time of year and mine certainly is.
I was out last night with my family at a restaurant
BTW I had:
Olives to start
(Not happy they were covered in garlic and
i’ve got a bit of an intolerance so I’m feeling
less sparkly today)
Burger…no bun or chips and a big side salad.
No dessert
Still had an amazing time and
left feeling good….and buzzing of garlic.
GUTTED
Anyway
I normally have my classes to take first thing, but I’m
not doing any until the New Year so I’ve taken advantage of
a little free time in the morning
and I’ve been going to Crossfit.
I’m loving it.
It is changing my routine,
but it’s a positive change.
My goal at the moment is to make
sure I train well over Christmas as I’m
surely going to be enjoying the festivities.
Each friend I catch up with seems to
go hand in hand with a glass of
wine/prosecco/champagne/vodka & soad.
It’s the rules
So whilst I KNOW I’m going to be
doing these things,
I’m putting other strategies in place
to minimise the damage.
During the day I’m eating lighter,
lower carb and balanced.
Plenty of water and herbal teas
Ramp up the exercise and
ENJOY!!
I had a mince pie for breakfast….
The session was tough though so
I’m cool with it.
No guilt!
I’ve got my plan
in place and I’m sticking to it.
Whats yours?
It is VERY easy to
think
“Ah…F**K it,
it’s Christmas.
I’ll get back on the diet in the new year”
Yes..me too..
but what is your plan?
You need to get it set
Specific
Realistic goals
and get excited about it.
