I’m not going to worry about you
Have you seen the movie passengers?
We had it on last night. I was starting to
fall asleep 1 hour and 18 minutes in.
Not because I wasn’t enjoying it, I’m just totally rubbish at watching films.
It’s the perfect recipe for falling asleep for me.

Anyway
I won’t spoil it but at one point one of the characters – Arthur – says to Jim
“Take a break from worrying about what you can’t control — live a little!”
So true.
Apparently 90% of what we worry about never happens and much of what we worry about
we can’t do anything about anyway.
So I had a quick think about what you can control, that you may worry about.
And that for many is their happiness with themselves is one big thing.
Things like
Worry about weight
Worry about looking frumpy in clothes
Worry about being the ‘fat one’ at a party
Worry about looking like a failure if you start a diet and don’t get the results.
Worry about going on holiday and being embarrassed about your body.
All these things though are what you can control.
You can decide to take action on doing something for yourself now
(very often doing what you already know)
I talked about this yesterday when I was on the stage taking with the staff at the DVLA.
YOU are the most important person and ONLY YOU can do things for you.
One lady came up to me and said she was so worried about her son and his weight, she’d tried everything to help him but she could not control him. He had to do things for himself.
Thats the same as you.
I could worry all day long about you reading this email and not doing anything about
your health goals…but where would that get me?
I can’t control you or force you to do anything you don’t want to
If you want to change, you’ve got to take action and do it for yourself.
I could say to you that the Detox programme is now open and
there’s 20 girls I’m not worried about because they’re going to do something for themselves and
I’m going to support them.
You could choose to join in , or you could decide not to do anything
and continue to worry about your body.
Worry won’t get you results.

Right….I’ve got to go now, as I showed the girls in the taransformer group, I’ve got a busy day of cleaning, planning and prepping. A womans work is never done hey!

P.S You know the think I say about ‘I already know that’
Well…yesterday one of the girls that was also talking about fitness and nutrition at the DVLA event came out of her talk and said ‘ the main feedback I got then was people already know it’
Of course you do!
