I wanted to share that video with you
from the Aqua HIIT Class I did at the Dragon Hotel for
The Diet Tribe last night.
We’ve been doing different challenges throughout the programme
to help the troop try different things and see what they enjoy.
Here’s my points:
If you don’t try you’ll never know.
You may dread something and LOVE IT
You may fancy something and REALLY dislike it
You may do the same exercise regularly but fancy a change
to get better ./ different results.
You may be of the belief that exercise is BORING and a CHORE
so you just don’t do any at all.
Just get stuck in and have a go.
For me, years ago I did quite a
bit of running.
So much I started the hate it.
I also took an aqua class a few times a week,
and then I fell out of love with it and didn’t give it my all.
I knew I needed to change so
I stopped running in favour of something MORE FUN
(and actually better for a toned, curvy body)
I stopped aqua, to focus on my online programmes more.
My lifestyle was BETTER and I enjoyed my days more as I was
changing things up and doing more of what I enjoyed.
Yesterday, I did them both.
I LOVED THEM
It was really nice going back to them and remembering
why I once loved them so much.
So a little bit from time to time is great.
Also, during the tribe challenges, I joined in
with the troop and did a spin class.
I’m glad I did it, but it’s not for me.
over a bike anyway.
Badger on the other hand, loves it
so much he can’t wait for the next session.
So what I’m trying to get at is,
there are LOADS of things you could be
trying to find what you like and what you don’t like.
Whilst I recommend you do the
metabolism boosting workouts that
tone your muscles and burn fat FAST
like my 12 minute workouts
(Which are scientifically proven BTW, plus
i’ve got loads of evidence)
You may love something else more.
If you LOVE running as it gets you out of the house
and you have a break from the family chaos – DO IT
If you LOVE zumba as you’re a little disco diva
and you want to have a boogie – DO IT
If you LOVE doing something fast to get it over and done with
as you’re super busy every day – DO IT
(i.e Get my DVD
on that one – lol)
Variety is the spice of life and the
more you enjoy the more chance you’ve got of sticking at
it and getting the results you want.
