I could never go back - Tara Hammett

I could never go back

Some Sunday Inspiration for you.
Check out Beth….what a difference in the two photos.
The one on the left popped up on her Timehop from 2 years ago.
2 years ago when Beth decided she wanted to lose weight, feel better and knew she was the only one that could do it for her.
No drastic measures
No crash dieting
No skinny teas or other ridiculous, damaging plans.
Beth did it the only way you should,
She made it a lifestyle and now she could never go back to the way she was.
Beth lost the weight and has KEPT IT OFF!
That's the trick.
I know the thought process of many….

“If I crash diet now, get a load of weight off quickly ready for XXX,
then once I’ve lost XXX, i’ll keep it off with healthy eating”
^^ This doesn’t work!

When you do drastic measures there are repercussions.
You slow down your metabolism, which means you slow things down and when you start eating ‘normal’ again, you put all the weight back on PLUS a little bit more, because your body doesn’t need the amount of calories anymore.
I’m sure it’s nobody’s goal to lose 14lbs and put 18lbs back on, so why risk it!?!?!
You can see the appeal for the fast lost on the scales, but the outcome is not worth it.
Beth tried it all,
She loved eating out and having drinks with friends.
She would order anything she wanted because she used to think that she didn’t want to miss out and restrict herself. Then during the week she would stick to the same, convenient meals because she didn’t try anything else, but all of this convenience kept her feeling frumpy and miserable.
Not anymore
Beth still does everything she wants, but she’s worked on changing her habits and now it’s easy. She’s done some hard work and now it’s a lifestyle. She could never go back to the way she felt. Feeling good is much better!
Initially losing weight takes effort.
Just like when you learn to drive a car.
So much to think about,
Overwhelming thoughts of everything to do,
nervous feelings but the more you work on it, the easier it becomes and then after practice you just jump in the car and don’t think twice about how to do it.
Weight loss and lifestyle change is the same.
Initially there’s lots to think about,
habits to change but the more you work on it, the easier it becomes and soon enough you’re feeling happier, healthier and staying that way.
You’ve just got to do it.
Beth joined me on the plan and hasn’t looked back.
Yes she still goes out with friends and is a pro at making an awesome G&T,
She goes out feeling fab, more confident, healthier and happier.
You can do it too today.

In the plan, I can show you how to do quick workouts when it suits you
Eat amazing food that is cheap, saves time and everyone will enjoy
Answer all your questions (Yes – it is confusing! Aimee joined last week and has asked so many brilliant questions)
Support and MOTIVATE YOU! << That’s the biggest thing people struggle with!
Today needs to count.
Make your Sunday productive by writing a little 5 day plan for yourself.
Plan your meals
Some quick workouts when you can and
make sure there’s plenty of healthy food at home
(and try not to buy the treats for everyone at home – you’ll end up eating them!)
Have a fab Sunday!!

P.S I’m doing a cooking lesson today for two fabulous ladies. Calling to their house and doing some Sunday food prep with them! That’s accountability right there!!
