Does worrying stop you changing your life?
Do you do that much?
Worry so much about things, then what you were worrying about
ended up being nothing to worry about.
That’s what I did this morning.
I haven’t been out on my own with Danny yet.
What if he freaks out
What if I can’t stop him crying
What if I get all hot and flustered and wish I’d never gone out in the first place.
All of that worrying could have easy made me decide to do nothing and do the same as
I have been the past 6 weeks and stay in the house on my own or only go out when I have someone with me.
Silly really.
I’d be missing out on so many opportunities and nice days out.
Truth was….NOTHING happened.
He slept the whole time. He was so content I even managed to get some extra bits done.
Yes..it took a bit of prepping and planning to reassure me that everything would be ok
but the result was a really nice morning out.
It was nothing too exciting mind, a bit of food shopping and a few appreciation gifts to buy
(part of my 5 steps ticksheet tasks).
This habit of worrying for no reason is exactly why people don’t
change
What if I can’t do it?
What if I don’t lose weight?
What if…
What if….
What if you LOVE it
What if you achieve what you want to
Be prepared to try.
Making change will mean a bit of planning and prepping and doing new stuff.
That’s all part of the fun.
You’ve just got to take the first step.
Some made their first step in January ( or re-stepped the step they stepped before
and got amazing results before they fell of the wagon and took a step back)
Have you taken any steps forward?
Don’t let worry keep you where you are now.
If you want to start, the 7 day detox week is starting again with a new team, and some returning friendly faces.

P.S I reckon I’m still going to worry for a little while yet, but I’m sure it will get easier the more I do it!
Sounds a bit like exercising and healthy eating 😉 xxx
