(Day 5 Gift) Champagne, Choccies, Bread - Tara Hammett

(Day 5 Gift) Champagne, Choccies, Bread

Tonight I'm Out Out!

Fantastic how day 5 of my Festive, fitness gifts has landed on a Friiiiiiiidaaaaaayyy

"On the 5th Day of Christmas Tara sent to me,
One treat todaaaaaaaaaaay"

Last night I was talking to the girls in the Inner Circle about consistency and persisting in your pursuit to weight loss and dropping a dress size.

One of the girls in the group has had a MASSIVE WIN.

She could so so so easily have thrown in the towel 2/3 weeks ago.

  • She was working hard - no inch loss2 tins chopped tomatoes
  • She was being so mindful of her meals - no weight loss
  • She was getting disheartened - but there was NO QUITTING!

This week.....it all kicked in and 4 pounds came off.

She's so near her goal and she's ecstatic!

Getting such great results at the toughest time of year will give you a huge sense of achievement and pride and it can be done.

Whats' even more appealing is it can be done WITH TREATS.

A healthy, balanced, successful lifestyle and eating plan needs consistency AND flexibiliity.

YES we can have choccies (gonna share an amazing recipe below)
YES we can have alcohol (Swap your beer & wine for a refreshing Gin & tonic or a Vodka & soda)
YES we can have bread or chips (with our protein and a few veggies)
YES we can have dessert from time to time.

And NO...you don't need to feel guilty...you just have to keep on going.

ALWAYS

Today I'm going to be following my Party Body Plan 'Day of the party rules'

  • 1
    I've had a quick workout
  • 2
I've had a healthy breakfast - with carbs around my exercise.
  • 3
I'll have a healthy lunch and lighter dinner before going out.
  • 4
    Plenty of Water
    Then....
  • 5
Get my party head on and Gin & Tonic is on my agenda.

It's fine to do this and not feel anxious that it's going to put you back,
you've always got the next day to get back to it.

So...If you're out tonight - ENJOY!!!

If not, get some ingredients together and get creating this delightful recipe.

Choc Chip Strawberry Protein Coconut Balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • ½ cup strawberry whey
  • ¼ cup almond/coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp Cacao Nibs
  • 75g dark choc 85% or above

HOW TO

Mix all the ingredients together apart from chocolate. Form into little balls, I got 18 balls out of this mixture. Melt the choc in a bain marie, roll the balls in the melted choc, place on greaseproof paper and freeze for 10-15 minutes.

Hope you enjoy!

P.s We've got the Party Body Plan Photoshoot on Sunday and I'll be making these for the girls. I'm thinking I'm gonna make Marzipan flavour and Cinammon Spice.

It is Christmas!!!
