3 Important habits, 2 recipes….

3 daily habits, 2 recipes and another workout form my DVD

This is a day not to miss!

Ok, so here's what I'm sharing with you to stay on track.

DAILY HABITS

It's sooooooooo important to have a routine of little tasks. Just as we've trained ourselves to automatically do things like brush our teeth, put seatbelts on etc...we can create more.

Starting the day completing 1 task soon moves us on to the next task and we have the most productive days.

Try this

  • HABIT 1: Make your bed! (easy to let this one slip by when you're rushing around)
  • HABIT 2: Drink 2 litres of water. Fill a bottle up first thing in the morning...this makes such a difference. 
  • HABIT 3: Share gratitude. Each day send a simple text to someone you care about. Just ask them how they are, thank them for something they've done. Don't expect anything back, but it's lovely to know you're passing on a smile and some positivity.

RECIPE 1:

I POSTED A PHOTO OF THIS THE OTHER DAY AND QUITE A FEW ASKED FOR THE RECIPE - SO HERE IT IS:

Protein Banana Bread

  • ½ cup vanilla whey protein
  • 1 cup liquid egg white
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree or cooked sweet potato
  • 2 bananas
  • ¼ cup oats
  • ½ tsp mixed spice
  • ½ cup of coconut flour
  • **ten servings**

Blitz all the above ingredients except 1 banana, pour into loaf mould and then place the other banana sliced up randomly. Place in a pre heated oven at 160 C, for roughly 40 minutes or until your knife comes out clean after knife test.

RECIPE 2:

STICKING WITH THE BANANA THEME, TRY THESE PANCAKES FOR BREKKIE.
(The whole family will love love love)

  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 medium-large banana
  • 3-4 strawberries

Serves 1

blitz with a hand blender or food processor

heat some coconut oil in a pan, evenly distribute the mixture in the pan, to make one large pancake or place small dollops in the pan for little ones. Flip and the top with strawberries and fold in half
