Weekly Recipes to Lose Weight

Hiya

Another week has flown by and it's my little Newsletter time again!

How have you done this week?

I hope you've been making some steps towards the change you'd love to see in your health, body & lifestyle.

This week in the plan we've been focusing on Workouts & Water.

Making extra effort to do what we know we should do, and can do.

When we focus on one habit at a time, it's not overwhelming anymore and soon becomes easier.

Next week we'll be doing the #cookingchallenge and trying new recipes
(all under the rule that they MUST be quick, easy and taste delish)

On that note....I challenge you to make something new.

Check out this weeks recipe and a BIG THANK YOU to Transformer Helen for the inspiration

Chicken Katsu Curry

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 chopped onion
  • thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 250g peeled chopped carrots
  • 350g tinned tomatoes
  • 1tbsp honey (Nigel uses 3 but I don’t think you need it)
  • 3 tbsp low salt soy sauce
  • 2 tsp garam masala AND 2 tsp curry powder

HOW TO:

Blitz all of the above in a food processor. Prepare 500ml chicken stock. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook, adding the stock until you have the desired consistency. Pour over your cooked chicken and serve with your fave veggies and cauli rice. Helen used spring greens

FYI, the recipe makes LOADS of sauce but it freezes so well - plenty to save for another time #timesaver

Bra Strap Back Fat

We've all been there. Put on our bra or tight fitting top and feel a bit self conscious about any little bulges.

Lucy asked how to tone up this area so I recorded a quick 1 minute video for you to watch and follow the advice

Missed this weeks podcast?

Don't forget my show with Badger from The Wave each week.

THis week we talk about:

  • The importance of protein in your diet (especially after a workout)
  • How to NOT be a failure at your diet and actually stick to it (even though you may feel it's not coming off fast enough!)

I would LOVE for you to subscribe to the show, and also give us your vital feedback.
