5 Days of Low Calorie Meals

5 Days of Low Calorie Meals

Let’s make life easier for ourselves when it comes to losing weight. Weight loss is hard, but we don’t need o make it harder than it already is. Making healthy decisions is hard, but we can make them easier. Getting up to workout is hard.

Staying motivated on your weight loss journey is also hard, but it doesnt need to be.

Some times are easier than others and some are harder. It’s tough.

Making Weight Loss and Staying Motivated Easier

There are some little things we can do to make things easier.Yesterday I called over to a clients home. Two lovely ladies who are super busy with children running around all over the place. They haven’t done any meal prep before and wanted some help.So I sent them some tasks:Buy a slow cooker.

Get yourself a smoothie maker. Buy some ingredients and make sure it’s all done by 12pm on Sunday afternoon

Wow – pressure made them find some time and they did it! So we spent half an hour chatting about nutrition and asking lots of questions then we spent half an hour doing some meal prep. A bit of chopping and blitzing later and they had some super healthy, delicious, meals. Meals that were low in calories, high in nutrition and will stop them from getting hungry.

They’re in a tupperware box in the fridge ready to grab and go in the week.  That’s a total of 5 low calorie, healthy meals prepped. Which means one less thing to think about each day. When it comes to meal prep I’m not talking about the stuff you see on the internet with 20 tupperware boxes full of meals and snacks on the side.

Easy Meal Prep For Busy Women

You just need 30 minutes or so on a day that suits you to get food to grab on the go. Here’s what I do when I’m on the ball with my meal prep (It will be about 6 pm tonight when my online shop turns up)

  • Boil the kettle
  • Turn oven on
  • Put 10-12 eggs to boil in a pan
  • Place a tray of chicken or salmon in the oven
  • Chop a load of veggies and throw in the slow cooker on low (with or without some chicken or turkey)
  • Steam a load of frozen veggies
  • Take eggs off the boil
  • Take the Chicken out of the oven and leave the steamed veg to cool

At 7pm I’ll have a coaching call with a private Life Transformer client. Once the meeting is done, I’ll get the food in the fridge ready, leave the slow cooker overnight and it’s done.

The next few days will be organised and prepped and we can just grab meals and reheat them when we’re ready. Have you done something similar before? Even if you haven’t there’s an even easier wa. If you’re like me and always make too much for dinner, you can use that for lunch the next day. Lunch the next day sorted.

Make little habits like this a regular thing.  Eating healthy & losing weight can be as easy (or hard) as you want it to be. You’ve just got to do it.  Don’t just read about it and think about it. Do it!I can’t promise I can come to your house too, but if you need any other tips of help – let me know!
