What I do on Party Day
I'm going out today and having a few drinkies\
Woo Hoo,
The last time I was out with my friends was Christmas time!
OMG - I've forgotten how to go out.
What I haven't forgotten though is my 'Feel The Best Party Plan'.
Before I tell you what I am 100% going to do today (and recommend you do too),
just wanna remind you that the 6 Week Body Plan is OPEN NOW and I'm going in there LIVE shortly
with a tonne of motivation
So...What am I going to do today?
- 1I've done my daily habit of reading already (mind workout done)
- 2Healthy brekkie - I had 50g of chocolate protein oats
- 3Workout - I always aim to have a good workout on party days. Using up energy is always good for the potential of consuming more than normal and a day of less movement tomorrow
- 4Eat lighter in the day - I'll base my meals on protein then some salad or veggies. Again, lighter on calories and helps my stomach feel good in my outfit (no heavy bloaty meals for me)
- 5Lots of water - because hydration!
- 6When I'm out I'll focus on one devil (Carbs/Dessert or Alcohol) When you do all three - huge cocktail of calories and fat, so I minimise the damage by making that choice. Today will be alcohol!
The next day is very important
Depending on how hard you hit it the day before, this is where you can double your calories easy - take aways, toast, fizzy drinks, crisps, choccy the lot - all whilst flaking out on the sofa all day long.
So when I get up I drink a pint of squash (cant stomach water - and maybe a paracetamol), and I keep healthy food around me.
The wrapstars with bacon egg and cheese are amaze. and I try to go for a walk.
I know I won't go crazy today as the thought of wasting a day with my boys is enough to keep me mindful,
so thinking about the next day is always a good motivator for me.
On that note, whatever you're doing today - have a faaaaabulous day!
And whenever you're out in the future, I hope these top tips help you feel amazing and in control!
Have a fab one
