^^^ All these things are very off putting.
Making challenging changes like losing weight can be hard.
Many will struggle to lose weight and keep it off because they lose motivation,
restrict themselves too much,
do too much long, boring exercise,
pick up an injury, STOP, then never get back to it.
When you want to make changes it needs to be as enjoyable as possible, so you can stick to it easier.
Sometimes you may even need to take a step back from it all and have a good recharge of your batteries.
Instead of hard, intense workouts – do some walking.
Instead of trying to be perfect with your diet, have a little bit of what you fancy.
With the girls in the Life Taransformer programme, prescribing some downtime is exactly what is on the agenda.
Life is hard and things will happen that we never plan and can make everything seem harder,
frustrating and get you to ‘what’s the point’ feelings.
These are the times when you need some guilt free R&R.
I’m a little in that place now too.
My back is sore,
my hips are tight and I’ve pain in my left leg.
Instead of pushing on, risking further damage – I had a word with myself.
I made an appointment with an Osteopath and I’m having a weekly massage with my Sister,
Plus…I have some homework.
Daily stretching
This is something I easily neglect, but ESSENTIAL to help me get to my goals.
I’ve also got a few of the Tarasnformers doing this to help loosen themselves out and take some much needed downtime.

This could be something you may need to do.
Even if you haven’t started a regular exercise plan, having a good stretch regularly could be just what you need to make a start towards your goals.
Then, hopefully, I may see you make some briliant changes when you join me and the girls in the support groups
