Why I’m NOT exercising
It’s ok for you to NOT exercise too.
Hang on….this is a bit different to my usual Monday Morning Motivate Yourself message.
I want to remind you though, that what we do to be healthy, happy and confident is to enjoy our lives and what we do.
If it was all hammer hammer hammer,
stress
smash out another workout
get tired
restrict your food >> YOU’RE ON A DIET REMEMBER!!
You wouldn’t be enjoying it at all.
This is part of the problem on why you may not be successful with your weight loss goals.
You stress about working out
You do boring gym stuff you don’t like
You feel GUILTY about missing a workout
You restrict your food more because you haven’t had your work out
The whole time you’re being hard on yourself
Telling yourself you’re not good enough
You’ll always be this way
You’ll never achieve the body you want so much.
This morning I didn’t work out
I still got up early, but I didn’t sleep the best and I decided to read my book a little longer and have a lie down on the settee.
This is fine.
I exercised the weekend
I’ll still eat healthy today and I’m not going to feel bad for not doing what I planned to do.
The rest will serve me better.
As so many of the girls in my programmes know,
whilst it’s important to have regular exercise as part of your lifestyle,
rest is too.
It helps you to mentally chill out
Your body can recover and recharge and help you burn fat better, rather than holding on to it
Your hormones will be in better balance
You can manage your stress better
