HOME-MADE CHOCOLATE, GOJI BERRY & ALMOND PROTEIN GRANOLA - Tara Hammett

HOME-MADE CHOCOLATE, GOJI BERRY & ALMOND PROTEIN GRANOLA

Sometimes it’s nice to sit down at breakfast time with a lovely bowl of crunchy granola. Most processed packs of cereal you buy are high sugar, high starch and low nutrition, so I’ve cooked up a lovely recipe that’s balanced with great nutrition to provide you with a yummo, balanced brekkie!

INGREDIENTS:

2 CUPS GLUTEN FREE OATS
2 SCOOPS CHOCOLATE WHEY PROTEIN
1 TEASPOON COCONUT OIL
½ CUP WATER
1 TEASPOON 100% COCOA
1/3 TEASPOON TRUVIA
¼ CUP GOJI BERRIES
¼ CUP SLICED ALMONDS

HOW TO:
Melt your coconut oil and add all the other ingredients (slowly add the water until you get your crumbly, clumpy kinda consistency). Sprinkle your little granola pieces onto greaseproof paper and pop in the oven on 170 dgrees for 10 mins. Remove from the oven, shake them up a bit and add them back in for 5-8 mins.
Once ready, pour a portion into a deep bowl and pour ice cold coconut or almond milk. TOTAL CRUNCHY NOMMO’S!!

This will give you 3 portions, so store the rest in a container to look forward to again! You can also experiment and make new flavours…Imagine a Strawberry & Coconut version! MMMM or a Minty Choccy Nutty Version!!

Keep Fit, Fab and Munchy!
